Ah, great. So many events are all happening at once and every single one of them are stressing me out. Nobody would know the pains I go through trying to win over people's minds. It is not a choice, but a duty to do whatever I have to do in order to fulfill my goal and I cannot be blinded by other factors. All the tortures known such as 'sitting in sedan chair' and 'airplain ride' freaks me out; especially the 'airplain ride'... it's just too horrifying to watch. However, I must stand firm like a leader and look emotionless if I want the people to crawl underneath my hands in fear of the punishment. I have no choice but to go against my instincts. What's more? I had to divorce my current wife He Zizhen and get a new one since she couldn't produce me enough healthy children; why did they all die so early? Probably because she is as weak, or even weaker than, as an ant. She is just as bad as my second wife, whom I had executed for not being pretty enough, but I let this one live since she was very nice to me at least. I hope the people won't think that I'm a weak being just because of this... then I might have to recapture her and give her the most horrible torture and I sure do not want that. Anyways, I will be selecting another wife for me in a week who is the most beautiful and obedient to me... To agrandize my stress further, guess who broke down the Chinese house door, the Japanese. They have intruded saying that we 'purposly aimed a bomb at the Japanese'. I've heard a rumor that the Japanese threw it on themselves just to get an excuse to attack us and it's probably true because noone, if they are not mad, would dare attack the undefeatable Japanese. They even won Russia! It's a wonder how such a small island nation came to possess such strong power. I'll have to gather some force to prepare for countering the Japanese attacks. If I succeed greatly in this mission, I will gain great appreciation among the people and more people will follow me.

The Japanese.... they are just going crazy. Their actions just make no sense and they are ruining themselves. I never knew they were so stupid and barbaric. Why did they suddenly attack the Chinese civilians? It is not that I feel angry at them for all the casualties nor do I want any compensation or anything. It just makes no sense! Why would they kill all the innocent civilians that has nothing to do with the war at all? Not to mention the extreme waste of bombs... I heard they dropped more than 11,500 bombs and killed only 5000 people! They couldn't even kill 1 person dropping 2 bombs! I don't mean I'm ignorant of the importance of each one of those lives but really, if I dropped that much on Japan, I would have killed 20 times as much people than the number of civilians the Japanse air raid killed. Last time they killed a lot of civilians, more than 300,000 I think, in the Massacre of NanKing. Even more women were raped in the incident too; what dirty people Japanese are... That had quite an impact. It severely decreased my soldier's morale and put many people in fear. The bombing was nothing compared to that. Next, the Japanese did the most stupid thing ever. They literally commited suicide by attacking America's Pearl Harbor. Was it a mistaken command? A group of crazy people who just wanted to suicide? No... they just made the worst decision possible. How do they expect the western powers to back down just by destroying a few tens of their ships? China has had many incidents where we experienced the brute force of the western powers... I'm ashamed to say that our nation, the middle nation, has fallen to the barbaric western powers but I have to acknowledge their far superior military powers. Even if Japanese could take over the entire Asian continent, they would never beat the western powers. I bet they are cowering in their country like a rabbit who just 'happened to' kick a tiger. I wish them good luck. Who knows? Maybe they might survive if America is lenient enough to forgive them with some payment but that would almost be impossible. If I was an American in that position, I would go and sink the entire island. How dare they touch our ships! However, I couldn't care more about the Japanese... no I am rather happy that they put themselves in that position since it would be beneficial to our country. Soon the Americans would wipe out the Japanese and once more I might be able to focus on getting more followers.

Really, why do we have to fight the nationalist right now in THIS situation??? They must not get the idea that it is not wether one of us, the communists or the nationalists, get more supporters and followers; it is time that we stopped (no, not really stop but pause for a moment until the Japanese are gone) fighting and combine our forces together to fight against the Japanese. It is just plain stupid to fight among ourselves while Japan is invading us. I wonder what's taking the Americans so long to defeat Japan... are things really going to turn out the way Japan wanted it to? Is America really cowering in fear? Did we really overestimate the power of western countries? No... it can't be true. We have experienced their power and it was way beyond what the Japanese could withstand. It's probably just the distance between the two countries that makes it hard for them to progress on their war. Whatever is happening, we will have to continue fighting against the Japanese, wether we win or not. We go out on the battlefield to win or die like a brave soldier, but never to run away in fear of death. As soon as we are done with the Japanese, I will again work on getting more followers of my communism. Also, I've noticed in a recent battle that one of the Japanese troops we were fighting were... what should I say.... reluctant? to fight us and were rather trying to avoid any skirmishes. I found this pecularily strange because their main objective here would be to take over our land and their action was contradicting that. The only way to find out what is happening was to capture one of their soldier and question them. We were successful in capturing one of their soldiers unharmed and alive. He, at first, was frantic thinking that we were going to torture him and kill him. However, when he realized that he was rather being questioned about the situations, he suddenly became all melancholy. He explained that they don't really want to fight and their leader Matsui Iwane is sick from all the cruel murders and casualties happening in China. I would have thought that this guy was trying to save his neck if it weren't for their suspicious actions. Tomorrow, I'm going to try to contact their leader and figure out more about this strange and interesting guy.

Matsui Iwane is a person I would never forget. After the meeting with this Japanese military leader, my view of the Japanese completely changed. That afternoon, he told me all about how he and his soldiers did not want to kill so many people. These people were different from the others (or maybe they all were like this group but it might have showed less on the others) in that they were not here to massacre people, but rather forced to kill and murder all the innocent people by their prince Asaka. The man seemed to be very ill; what an agony the man must be going through. Maybe it's just that I am too used to bearing all those cruel tortures that I can handle myself in these terrible war. I suggested him that he and his soldiers join them in spreading communism in China but then he would have to face his own brothers on the battlefields and he also had a wife back at Japan so we had no choice but to leave as if nothing happened. Neither one of us attacked for several days. Then, suddenly they started attacking again. I thought that he had no choice but to attack because of the commands he is being given but this time the attacks were furious and rapid, unlike the ones the unwilling soldiers gave us last time. Later came a report saying that Matsui was captured by the Japanese government and taken back to Japan. I hope he is okay.... but something absolutely terrible has happened. It would give this poor man no chance of surviving. The Americans have finally made their revenge on the Japanese with an atomic bomb they call "Little Boy". So what bascially happened is that his 'little' bomb wiped out, literally erased everthing in Hiroshima. I guess with the bomb it took the city, the people and everything within the bomb's impact area to dust. What's more, they dropped a second one called "Fat Man" on Nagasaki and who knows how many people it killed... they're all gone. It's strange how I first hoped that the Americans would crush the Japanese and how I didn't care so much about killing people but now, mostly from Matsui's influence, I thought in sympathy for all the Japanese people that died in the bombing and I completely oppose taking one's life.
